Bridging Theory-Practice Gap: Connecting Feedback with Teaching Practicum

Incorporating theory into practice is not a simple but rather dialectical and complex process of observing, scaffolding, reflecting, coordinating prospective teachers (PT) at teaching practicum. It has been observed that interaction in the form academic feedback between cooperative (CT) PTs poor. The study explores perception CTs, UTs (University teachers) about practices to bridge theory-practice gap during practicum preservice teacher education program (PTEP). an exploratory investigation applying survey method semi-structured interview collect data from PTs, answer inquiries role bridging theory- gap. Purposive criterion sampling techniques were used, 98 30 CT,s 15 participated study.
